This motor has full power (400 horse on our dyno) and has functioning MDS as well. We are seeing 18 to 21 mpg from these VVT conversions. No check engine lights and all the features of the JK function perfectly. Our cruise control on the 2011 works just like it should with no added “boxes” to fool the jeep into having cruise. That’s just more stuff to go wrong down the road. This JK is the 495th conversion that Burnsville Offroad has finished.

This JK has what I call our “Max Cool package”, the engine driven fan has the Dodge thermostatic clutch and pulls massive amounts of air at all rpms. On JKs that have a Warn powerplant we also install a 12″ Spal pusher fan assembly that can either be turned on with a thermostat or toggle switch. This set up has been tested in the desert heat in the Middle East and the high mountain passes in Colorado. You can’t beat it. You want your hemi JK to run cool? BOR is where its at.
